Cypress Hills
  The Great Southwest - among the most popular destinations in
   the Great Southwest is Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park.  It is
   the highest point of land in Canada between the Rocky Mountains
   & Labrador.  The park is home to rare wild flowers, towering
   stands of lodgepole pine and 200 species of birds and mammals.






Grasslands National Park
    Grasslands National Park - is the first national park of Canada
    to preserve a portion of the mixed prairie grasslands.  It is the
    only place in Canada where colonies of black-tailed prairie dogs

    Great Sandhills - is one of the largest set of active sand dunes
    in the country.  The largest sand dunes are 25 meters high &
    covers several hectors of land.  The Great Sandhills lie in the
    Chinook area & are subject to strong winds. As a result, the
    sand dunes are estimated moving at a rate of 4 meters per year

    Lake Diefenbaker - was formed when the massive Gardiner
    Dam was constructed in the South Saskatchewan river in 1967.
    It features 3 major parks, including Sask Landing, Danielson

    Dino Country - located in Eastend - has drawn attention with
    the discovery of a near-completed Tyrannosaurus Rex
    skeleton.  "Scotty" is one of twelve quality specimens in the
